Pride of Kansas City Tip-Off

SAVE THE DATE!  Baptist-Trinity Lutheran Legacy Foundation will hold the 2nd annual Pride of Kansas City Tip-Off at the Midland Theatre on March 9, 2010.  This concert event will feature award winning country artist Jake Owen and will also include performances  by up-and-coming artists Justin Moore and Sarah Buxton. Help us "tip-off" the Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship country style!

The Pride of Kansas City Tip-Off, benefiting        Kansas City's Medicine Cabinet, is pleased to announce David and Linda Gentile, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City, as the 2010 Honorary Co-Chairs.

Show time is 7:15 PM at The Midland by AMC,1228 Main Street, Kansas City, Missouri.  Doors open at 6:00 PM.

HEADLINE ENTERTAINMENT!

In the past three years, Jake Owen has racked up plenty of reasons to believe in himself and the creative direction he is taking on his second album “Easy Does It”. Winner of the 2009 Academy of Country Music's   Top New Male Vocalist, Jake has received both Country Music Award and Grammy nominations. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Justin Moore will on hand to perform his hit songs "Small Town USA" and "Backwoods" among others. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lawrence, Kansas native Sarah Buxton will also perform.  Sarah was nominated by the Academy of Country Music for "Top New Female Vocalist" in 2009.
